RCSI holds blood donation drive

Staff and students at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) took part in a blood donation drive. More than 40 units were donated to the Central Blood Bank as part of the second edition of the University’s biannual blood donation drive.

The units of blood are expected to be used through public healthcare centres and government and private hospitals. The team from Central Blood Bank once again took over the Busaiteen campus’ Ibn Al-Baitar Clinical Simulation Centre, as part of an ongoing collaboration dating back to 2006.

RCSI Bahrain is a constituent university of RCSI, which was established in Dublin, Ireland in 1784.
