Shaikh Nasser leads Bahrain

Led by His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team Captain HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the riders of the Kingdom of Bahrain are taking part in the Royal Windsor Horse Show today.

Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stated the participation of Bahrain in the show comes to cement its presence in such international equestrian events, and demonstrates the high technical levels of Bahraini endurance sports, following the endless guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The event today is over 120 kms and Shaikh Nasser said such involvement in key international events comes within Bahrain Royal Endurance Team’s agenda during the summer season, reinforcing the team’s successful and positive results over the past years.

Bahrain Royal Endurance Team includes eight riders, led by Shaikh Nasser riding Romance, while other members include Isa Al Hazza, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Shaikh Saqer bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Abdulrahman Al Saad, Manal Fakhrawi, Jaffar Mirza and Raed Mahmood.

The show began yesterday and continues today and tomorrow.

Representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in the contest are Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Khalid Al Khatiri (last year’s champion), Ahmed Mansoor and Saber
Faraj.
