Yoga event set
The Indian Embassy along with the Ministry of Youth and Sports will organise the event ‘Yogafest’ at Khalifa Sports City Stadium from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm tomorrow marking the International Yoga Day.
The day is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015.
An international day for yoga was declared unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly. Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice originated in India.
