Bahrain envoy attends First Gulf German Dialogue

The Ambassador of the Kingdom to Germany, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, participated in the first forum of the Gulf-German dialogue on security and co-operation in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany, which was organised by the German Foreign Ministry and the Arab-German Friendship Association.

Attending the meeting were Chairman of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies, Prince Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, Secretary-General of the Gulf Co-operation Council, Dr Abdul Latif Rashid Al Zayani, Kuwait’s National Security Bureau Chief, Sheikh Thamer Al Ali Al Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, and members of Gulf and German think tanks.

The delegation of the Kingdom included researcher and political analyst, Abdullah Al Junaid, Director of Studies and Research at Derasat, Dr Omar Al Obaidli, and President of the Bahrain Society for Strategic Planning (BSSP) Dr Hala Sulaibikh. The German Federal Foreign Minister welcomed the delegation.

He expressed his appreciation to the growing relations of friendship and co-operation between Germany and the GCC States, stressing his country’s keenness to ensure the security and stability of the GCC as an effective regional system.
