Pakistan school students shine in SSC-I exam

Pakistan School, Bahrain, students registered overall excellence in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part I Examinations of 2019 by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad. The  pass percentage in the science stream is 80 per cent while the Arts group registered 70pc.

Fatima Junaid secured first position with 92pc marks (476/520). Eman Ahmad clinched the second position with 90pc marks (470/520) followed by Andleeb Maqsood securing the third position with 89pc marks (465/520). 19 Students clinched ‘A+’ positions, with 20 fetching ‘A’ grades followed by 33 students with’ B’ grades. This time also girls dominated in clinching positions and securing high marks. The top three positions were secured by girls.

The overall success rate among girl students is 85pc with science group topping with 85pc followed by humanities with 76pc. The Chairman, Board of Management and the Principal congratulated the students and said due recognition will be given to the students and parents by organising special events. 

Principal Attiq-ur-Rehman expressed his deep pleasure and satisfaction for the commendable performance of the students. Sami ur Rehman, the Chairman Board of Management, said that students will be granted scholarships and awards for their results. Efforts of Board members including Academic in charge Muhammad Naseem were praised.
