‘Our Bahrain’ initiative stressed

A national initiative aimed at instilling the values of national belonging came under the spotlight, during a session held at the training center. The training was organized at the National Communication Centre, following directives issued by the Minister of Information Affairs Ali Al Romaihi.

The session focused on media support for the implementation of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Our Bahrain). Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Head of the Follow-Up Committee, launched the initiative last March, in line with the royal vision that cultivates the values of loyalty and belonging to the nation.

National Plan Executive Office member Youssef Mohammed addressed columnists, journalists, and social media influencers, shedding light on key components of the roadmap. He outlined the initiatives spearheaded by the Ministry of Information Affairs and the National Communication Centre (NCC) to unify media discourse and co-ordinate efforts of ministries through the periodic meeting. He highlighted the importance of the 70-initiative plan, which engages all ministries and government departments.

The Kingdom, over a year ago, announced the formation of a committee promotes patriotism in the country. The Committee to Reinforce Loyalty and National Values, announced by Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, comprises 16 members, who were tasked with drafting a comprehensive strategy and vision.
