Housing Minister chairs Tender Board session
A total of 78 bids for 19 tenders were opened yesterday during the weekly meeting of the Tender Board.
Housing Minister Bassem Al-Hamer chaired the session which also discussed key issues related to Government’s tenders and procurement. The minister stressed the role of the board as an independent regulatory authority in charge of supervising Government’s tenders and procurement.
He reiterated the board’s commitment to ensure the highest standards of justice, fairness and transparency to guarantee equal opportunities for suppliers and contractors taking part in Government’s tenders and procurement.
