Former Bahraini resident Ram Bhatia dies in Dubai
Former Bahraini resident Ram Atmaram Bhatia (63) passed away in Dubai on 9 July 2019 due to cardiac arrest. Ram started his career with Arig and worked several years as a banker with Taib Bank and Citi Bank. He further pursued his investment banking career in the UAE.
While in Bahrain, he was active in various social activities and was a member of Lions Club of Bahrain. Ram is survived by his wife Mala, Daughter Vinti, Son Jash, Son in law Nikesh, granddaughter Niara, Sister Lata (Dubai), brothers Devkishan and Mahendra Bhatia in Bahrain, sisters Vasumati and Damyanti in Mumbai.
