His Majesty’s diplomatic academy decree hailed
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a letter of appreciation and gratitude from Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa following the issuance of the decree to establish the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Diplomatic Academy.
HH Shaikh Mohammed said in his letter that the honour was a source of pride and a motivation to intensify endeavours for the sake of the nation under the leadership of HM the King. HH Shaikh Mohammed wished HM the King abundant health and Bahrain further progress and prosperity. His Majesty on Thursday issued Decree 54/2019 establishing the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Diplomatic Academy.
The academy will be affiliated with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and will be managed by an Executive Director appointed by a decree in the rank of assistant undersecretary. The academy will replace the Diplomatic Institute and will have all its jurisdictions and duties. All the staff of the Diplomatic Institute will be relocated to the academy according to their specific job scale, allowances and financial benefits.
