King holds call with UK Premier
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a phone call with new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and congratulated him on his election, wishing him every success in performing his duties and responsibilities.
HM the King took pride in long-standing historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, hailing solid ties which are founded on strong bases of joint work and mutual respect.
He commended strenuous UK-led efforts and pivotal roles to support regional and international security and stability, affirming Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing joint political, security and economic co-operation and other fields.
