Eldar to make debut for KHK team on Friday

KHK MMA team new recruit Eldar Eldarov will represent the team for the first time in a competition this weekend. The fighter will be taking part in Gladiator Fighting Championship (GFC) in Kuwait on Friday to face American professional Tanner Saraceno.
Talking about his preparations, Eldarov said, "In MMA a lot of it’s about technique, everyday we try to mix it. MMA is something I do every day. I know the kind of shape I am in and I am ready.”
“I don't think too much about this. I just want to get inside the cage and finish the fight in the first round. What I say kill yourself in training and you will not be killed in a fight. I am ready for everything. My strategy is to stop him and get him with hard punches," he exuded confidence.
Eight professionals and 14 amateur fighters had recently signed for the newly formed MMA team. Apart from Eldarov notable names such as Alexandro ‘Extremo’ Soto, Islam Makhachev, Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov, Jose ‘Shorty’ Torres, Frans Mlambo, and Bahraini duo Mohammed 'The Hawk' Shahid and Hamza Alkooheji are also participating.
