Khalid bin Hamad visits BDF men in Saudi

 The Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, HH Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the wounded BDF men hospitalised in Saudi Arabia yesterday. They were injured during their participation in Operation Restore Hope alongside the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces in support of the legitimacy in Yemen.

 During the visit, the Commander of the Royal Guard Force, HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa contacted the hospitalized BDF men over phone. He commended their huge efforts in serving their nation. Shaikh Nasser mentioned in his call that the brave BDF men did not spare any efforts in serving the homeland and maintaining its security and stability.

 Major Shaikh Khalid instructed easy procedures of shifting the wounded soldiers abroad to complete their treatment in the best specialist hospitals. He also reiterated the Kingdom’s steadfast stance vis-a-vis participation in the coalition in support of the legitimacy in Yemen.

 The injured BDF servicemen said Shaikh Khalid’s visit had multiplied their high morale. They also pledged to resume their national duty as soon they are healed.
