Among the prominent members of Indian community who met the prime minister were NAFFCO Managing Director V K Rajasekharan Pillai and K G Baburaj, Chairman of BKG Holding Company.

Mr Modi concluded his two-day official visit on Saturday. During the visit, Mr Modi held talks with His Majesty, HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince. He also launched the $4 million redevelopment project for Shree Krishna Temple and Thattai Hindu Community Complex in Manama.

Many Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) were signed between both countries in space and other sectors. Modi visit also saw RuPay card being launched in the Kingdom.
