UoB announces admission results
The University of Bahrain (UoB) has announced results admission to the first academic programs (Bachelor and Associate Diploma) for the academic year 2019-2020. UoB President Dr Riyadh Youssef Hamza paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa hailing royal support to the university.
He commended cooperation between the University of Bahrain, the Ministry of Education and the Information and Electronic Government Authority (iGA). Dr Hamza congratulated students who were admitted to first academic programs (Bachelor and Associate Diploma) for the academic year 2019-2020, wishing them a bright future to contribute to the development and modernisation of the Kingdom.
The UoB Admission and Registration Deanship announced that more than 9000 students applied to join the first academic programmes (Bachelor and Associate Diploma). The Deanship sent SMS messages to all students who have met all terms and conditions to complete required procedures. It said that 66 per cent of students had their first choice and 80pc obtained one of the top three choices.
The Deanship said that the process of admission confirmation which started today, Monday, will continue until the 1st of September. Meanwhile, the university called upon all students to attend the events and functions lined up from the induction day, scheduled to be held on September 11 and 12.
