Bahrain keen to bolster ties with Philippines: HRH PM

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday expressed his keenness to further boost Bahraini-Philippines cooperation in various fields. HRH Premier lauded the contributions of the Filipino expatriate community in the Kingdom’s development march, affirming that its members enjoy all kinds of support and appreciation at all levels.

The Prime Minister was receiving at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday the Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries, Dr Amable Aguiluz. Dr Amable Aguiluz lauded HRH the Prime Minister’s unwavering interest in strengthening bilateral relations and praised Bahrain’s supportive stances for his country at various gatherings.

Dr Aguiluz affirmed his country’s keenness to further bolster bilateral cooperation, thanking the kingdom’s leadership, government and people for the care accorded to the Filipino expatriate community. The envoy conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister greetings from the Philippines President, Rodrigo Duterte. 

HRH Premier requested Dr Aguiluz to convey his greetings to the Philippines President, as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Philippines and its people.
