New appointments announced

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, issued two edicts appointing directors in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Civil Service Bureau.

Edict 28/2019 stipulated the appointment of the following as directors in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism: Mona Al Sayed Kadhem Jaffar Al Alawi (Director of Inspection Directorate), Ali Shubbar Jawad Hassan (Director of Testing and Metrology), Bader Fareed Abdulrahman (Director of Registration Directorate), Senan Ali Ahmed Al Jaberi (Director of Communication and Awareness Directorate), Ahmed Yousef Ahmed Taqi (Director of Industrial Zones Directorate) and Maram Mukhtar Abdullah Al Mahmeed (Director of Information Systems Directorate).

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has been tasked to implement this Edict effective from the date of issuance, and to be published in the Official Gazette. Edict 29/2019 stipulated the appointment of Ahmed Adel Ali Al Yahya as Director of Planning and Manpower Balance in the Civil Service Bureau. The Civil Service Bureau’s president has been tasked to implement this Edict effective from the date of issuance, and to be published in the Official Gazette.
