Sandstorm hits Bahrain

A huge sandstorm hit the southern parts of the Kingdom about an hour back. Initial information indicates that it’s climbing up the northern parts of the island. The Meteorological Directorate in the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry tweeted in the morning, “Meteorological Directorate calls to be cautions for strong winds over south areas.”
Interior Ministry stated on its official Twitter account that “Coast Guard calls upon seafarers to be cautious because of high winds in the Southern areas for their safety.”
It also mentioned, “General Directorate of Traffic calls upon road users to be cautious because of dusty winds in the southern areas of Bahrain for their safety.”
