4PM News employee passes away
Mohan Koliyadan, who was working with 4PM News circulation department, passed away yesterday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 56. Mr. Mohan, who hailed from Kasaragod district in the Indian state of Kerala, was very active in social circles, especially among the expatriate community in the Kingdom.
A former volleyball player, who represented his college and university teams in his home country, Mr. Mohan was one of the keen organizers of many volleyball tournaments here. His immediate survivors include wife Sindhu, daughter Manasa Mohan (first-year graduation student) and Abhinand Mohan (seventh-standard student).
Expressing his condolences to bereaved family members and friends of Mr. Mohan, P Unnikrishnan, Chairman of 4PM News said: “Mohan has been working with us for the past seven years and was more of a family member to me. “A hard-working individual, he was a big asset for the company. We are in our best efforts to fly back the body home today itself.”
The body is being kept at Salmaniya Medical Complex morgue. A prayer meeting will be held today at 4.30 pm in Salmaniya.
