Bahrain condemns terrorist bombings in Afghanistan
The Kingdom yesterday condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted an election campaign rally by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Parwan province, and the terrorist bombing near an army base in Kabul, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, killing and injuring dozens of people including women and children.
In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured “as a result of these heinous terrorist acts”.
“The ministry affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and its support in its relentless efforts to combat violence and terrorism, stressing its unequivocal position against eradicating all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
“The ministry also calls for the need for the international community to unite to confront and eliminate this scourge,” the statement also said.
