Abu Dhabi

---

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa took part yesterday at Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, along with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and worshippers, in Friday prayer and the absentee funeral prayer (Salat Al Ghayeb) for the soldiers, who lost their lives in the war for restoring legitimacy in Yemen.

HM the King expressed condolences to the families of the soldiers from Bahrain Defence Forces (BDF) as well as the armed forces of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, who attained martyrdom while performing their national duty within the Arab Coalition.

He stressed that the names of those heroes would remain carved in the history of their homeland and the Arab nation as they set an example of true patriotism.

Voicing Bahrain’s resolve to continue supporting its brethren countries in facing challenges posed to the Arab nation, HM the King described the martyrdom of the Bahraini, Emirati and Saudi soldiers as a vivid proof of historical fraternal unity and solidarity.
