Four held for bank data theft

General Director of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Lieutenant Colonel Bassam Al Miraj announced yesterday the arrest of four Asian nationals for stealing data of bank cards of commercial bank clients in Bahrain.
A bank, which preferred anonymity, reported the incident to police, following which police moved to the location and arrested the suspects red-handed.
They were removing devices that copy data, when they were nabbed.
Al Miraj said the legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
