Prince Salman performs funeral prayers to honour martyred soldiers

Deputy King HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Kingdom would continue to support the Saudi-led coalition forces’ “Operation Restoring Hope” in order to restore security and stability in Yemen. Prince Salman further highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to Arab and regional affairs and praised the Kingdom’s armed forces’ contribution to protecting regional security and stability.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the Friday prayer and the absentee funeral prayer (Salat Alghayeb) at Shaikh Isa Mosque in Riffa to pay tribute to the Bahraini soldiers, who lost their lives in the war along the southern border of Saudi Arabia.
The Deputy King also expressed his appreciation to the people of Bahrain for supporting the role of the Kingdom’s armed forces in restoring stability and security in the region.
