‘Customs systems developed in line with latest global practices’
President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa handed the Authorised Economic Operator Certificate to the Mondelez Bahrain after fulfilling the accreditation requirements.
The President highlighted the dedication of Customs Affairs to develop its systems according to the latest international practices and the government Action Plan to ensure sustainability of economic development in the public and private sectors.
The Economic Operator Programme aims to support the international trade and customs supervisory role. It provides various privileges and services for the operators through facilitating the exports and import operations.
