Alba attends key safety forum

Aluminium Bahrain BSc (Alba), one of Bahrain’s leading champions on safety, was a key participant of the seventh edition of Global HSE Conference and Exhibition 2019 being held from 30 September to 3 October 2019 at the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain. Held under the “Efficiency, Resilience and Sustainability” theme, Shaikh Mohamed Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil for the Kingdom of Bahrain, inaugurated the Global HSE Conference and Exhibition and was welcomed by Alba’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali and the Director of Safety, Health and Environment, Moh’d Khalil Saeed at the Alba stand in the Exhibition.

Alba also received a token of appreciation for its support of this forum. The conference is hosting plenary discussions and workshops on a variety of subjects that are critical to HSE Management globally and regionally while the Exhibition is showcasing latest technologies and solutions from HSE manufacturers.  Commenting on this occasion, Ali Al Baqali said: “Alba has come a long way in its Safety transformational journey.

Today, we stand proud of our Safety culture. “We have been able to ’Think Safety First and Always’ through the collective commitment of both - our employees and contractors. “By endorsing this event, we are able to share our SHE systems and policies, which are aligned to some of the best international practices and standards.”
