AUB US$500,000 MyHassad Prize winner named

Ahli United Bank (AUB) has announced Mrs Margarit Howley Ameen Hasan as the winner of the MyHassad Quarterly Draw that took place on September 25, 2019 for the value of US$ 500,000. On hearing the news Mrs. Hasan said, “I received the call from AUB Bank representatives informing me that the MyHassad savings certificate of mine has won US$ 500,000. I experienced a joy that cannot be described and an unbelievable state of emotions on receiving the news.

This is the first time ever that I got lucky enough to win something.” She also stated, “Participating in the MyHassad scheme has been a rewarding experience as I began investing ten years ago and I have won one of the largest prizes of the MyHassad Programme.” She added that, “It is a very happy occasion. I have already informed my friends of my winning the prize, and they have mentioned a desire to invest in the MyHassad Program as well.” When asked about her plans for spending the prize, her response was, “I don’t know what I will do with the prize yet, but I will think of something.

I am still experiencing the pleasant shock of the great news, but for the moment I will invest it in the MyHassad Program.” While AUB Bank continues the weekly and monthly draws for the MyHassad Program, the countdown has already begun for the US$ 1 Million Grand Prize. This is scheduled in December 2019 for which customers can now invest to participate. MyHassad - a savings program that offers the largest prizes in Bahrain - has succeeded in registering the greatest number of winners and delivering the biggest prizes compared to any other savings program in the Kingdom.

Ever since it started, MyHassad has awarded cash prizes that are worth more than BD67 million to more than 16,000 customers. Recently, AUB announced the launch of the new version of the well-known ‘MyHassad’ savings program, which will be launched again this year with a series of prizes. It’s the largest program in Bahrain that includes total prizes worth more than $8 million. In this edition, the program will be led by the “Millionaire MyHassad” award, which will reward $1 million to one winner later on this year.

In addition to this grand annual prize, the Bank also unveiled the details of the new periodic draws on various weekly, monthly, quarterly and special Eid prizes that have been created to provide customers in Bahrain with a season full of cash prizes and give them a once in a lifetime chance to win more than ever before. MyHassad begins its new season with weekly draws that are worth more than $25,000 for customers in Bahrain, as well as 20 prizes worth BD1,000 each to be drawn every week in order to create more opportunities for the largest customer segment throughout the year.

This year, MyHassad has also provided their customers with a monthly prize of BD100,000 (US$ 265,000), which increases every three months to a $500,000 quarterly Grand Prize. These prizes are designed to give the winners the ability and the financial freedom to realize their dreams and ensure their financial stability. To qualify for the MyHassad draws, each BD50 credit will give people an opportunity to participate and win the draw.
