Airport signal junction to open partially
The new traffic signal at the intersection of Airport Avenue with Khalifa Al Kabeer Highway and Road 2403 Muharraq Governorate will be operational starting this Saturday.
The announcement was made by the Roads Affairs of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of Interior and Bahrain Airport Company The opening, marks only a partial opening of the project. Works will continue at Khalifa Al Kabeer Highway, Airport Avenue and the intersection.
The project is expected to be fully operational in Q4 this year in conjunction with the opening of the new airport terminal.
