Leadership congratulated on sport achievement

Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Ayman Al Moayed extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier on the achievement brought about by Bahraini runner Salwa Eid Nasser who clinched the gold medal in the 400-meter race in the World Athletics Championship.

The minister also congratulated Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the accomplishment.

He described the achievement as the dividend of their support to the national teams and the sport movement in Bahrain. The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister praised the efforts of Bahrain Athletics Association, presided by Mohammed Abdullatif bin Jalal, in paving the way for the Bahraini runner to mount the podium in the world championship. He also commended the high performance of the Bahraini runner to lift the Bahraini flag high in the international event.
