Housing strides stressed

The Ministry of Housing yesterday hosted a delegation of international diplomats from around the world participating in the first edition of the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies first edition “hospitality” programme.

Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects Sami Abdullah Bu Hazzaa briefed the delegation about “hospitality” programme the top title winner of the Government Innovation Competition organised by the Office of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

He highlighted the Housing Ministry’s projects and programmes to boost the national economy in harmony with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, citing the services provided by the ministry to low-income citizens in various areas spanning 50 years.

Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policy and Services Dr Khalid Al Haydan and the CEO of the Academy, Dr Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Director of Policy and Strategic Planning Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, were also present.
