HRH Premier calls for promoting humanitarian initiatives

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has urged to promote local humanitarian and social initiatives at the GCC, regional and international levels.

The way is paved for GCC and Arab cooperation and complementarity in humanitarian and social work, the Premier said, adding that such initiatives emanates from Islamic values and genuine traditions, and are considered an integral part in the upbringing and culture of the GCC citizens, in general, and the Bahraini ones, in particular.

In this regard, he praised the positive interaction with Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa’s social initiatives at the local, GCC and Arab levels. HRH the Premier made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday the Honorary President of Bahrain Parents Care Society Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who introduced to him the winners of the Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Award for “Loyalty to the Dedicated People”. 

HRH Premier underlined government’s keenness on providing an environment in which awareness of the goals of social work and its positive role in deepening relations among members of society and enhancing communication among the relevant regional and international sides increases. 

HRH Premier congratulated the winners of the Award, noting that they represent role models in righteousness to parents.

Prince Khalifa extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for enriching social work and promoting the values of loyalty and righteousness to parents, being the main source of inspiration for the values of dedication and good morals.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for supporting all initiatives aiming to foster social work aiming to develop societies and enhance the values of cooperation, fraternity and cohesion.

He praised HRH Premier’s directives to create an environment in which social work flourishes so as to help the individuals to become effective members to contribute positively to building the nation. 

He also said that the “Loyalty to Dedicated People” Award aims to honour those are dedicated in serving their communities and are role models of righteousness to parents so as to motivate civil society institutions and individuals to exert more efforts to achieve the best for such a beloved social category.
