Two new traffic signals installed on Saar Avenue
The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning has announced that it has, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of Interior, installed two new traffic signals, as part of the on-going Saar Avenue improvement at the intersections with Road 2941 and Road 1523 in Saar of Northern Governorate.
The signals will be operating with the new modification from today, the ministry added, calling on all road users to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
Separately, the Ministry of Works said that the sewerage maintenance works on Baghdad Avenue at Isa Town necessitate closure of one lane for southbound traffic near Isa Town Mall and the traffic movement will be diverted to Avenue 5. The closure will be effective from Thursday and for a period of 25 days.
