HH Shaikh Nasser chairs BIDEC preparatory meeting
National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, yesterday chaired the preparatory meeting of the High Organising Committee of the second edition of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2019).
The event under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, will be from October 28 to 30. HH Shaikh Nasser is the President of the BIDEC 2019 High Organising Committee. While reviewing preparations, HH Shaikh Nasser gave directives to the heads of subcommittees to coordinate their efforts, stressing that teamwork is essential for ensuring the success of the event.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) and the official Spokesman for BIDEC 2019, Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, was present. Derasat is a partner of the Middle East Military Technology Conference (MEMTEC) held on the sidelines of BIDEC 2019.
