Deputy Premier holds meeting with former UK Prime Minister
Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, held a meeting with former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, who is participating as a key speaker in the 44th Interarab Cambist Association Conference (ICA), which kicked off here yesterday, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to David Cameron, as well as their welcome of his participation in ICA.
The Deputy Premier and former UK Prime Minister discussed the long-standing friendship relations between Bahrain and Britain, and areas of bilateral co-operation in various fields for the best interests of the two Kingdoms and their friendly peoples. They also reviewed a number of regional and global issues of mutual interest, in addition to ICA’s agenda regarding financial services within a stable investment and economic atmosphere.
Former British Prime Minister conveyed his greetings and good wishes to HM the King, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince, expressing delight at visiting Bahrain and taking part in the conference. President of the Court of the Crown Prince, Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.
