Toastmasters gear up for unique gathering

Div-A Debate Toastmasters is  all set to host the first TMx, a unique gathering in Bahrain that will unleash new ideas, inspire and inform.  The event will be held on November 1 at the British University of Bahrain in Saar from 4pm to 7pm. TMx is a platform for toastmasters to share their knowledge and expertise to the world  with the theme ‘Great Ideas for Daily Life’.  

The TMx speakers include Hisham Jiffry, Kamal Al Shehabi, Meenakshi Sundaram, Mohamed Ali Shukri, Anil Menon, Sajitha Sateesh, Mariam Haji, Hassanain Alsaffar, Meenakshi Sundaram and Ali Shahbaz Ali. TMx  is an  experiment in bringing innovative ideas to a greater audience  in line with District 20 Programme Quality Director’s initiative ‘Step Out, Speak Out.’  

The  first batch of speakers were chosen for the diversity of their topics and their impact on people’s daily lives. Mohamed Ali Shukri is an International award-winning speaker, a professional trainer and coach. Participants get to witness history being made as this is a first-of-its kind event in toastmasters in Bahrain. They will also be inspired with new ideas and new viewpoints - maybe even get to be on the TMx stage next year, said the organisers.
