Kingdom seeks broader global ties ‘to ensure peace’ in region
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to President Abdel Fattah el Sisi, wishing him good health and wellness, and to the Arab Republic of Egypt continued progress and prosperity.
This came as President El Sisi, received yesterday, Shaikh Khalid, as well as heads of delegations participating in the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting in Cairo. President el Sisi, requested the Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King, and his wishes of continuous progress and prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and their continuous development.
He discussed with the heads of delegations participating in the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting regional and international issues. Shaikh Khalid expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President for hosting the meeting of the core group of the conference, which discusses the most important issues on regional and international levels, and reflects the role of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt and its keenness to enhance security and stability in the region and the world at large.
He hailed the strong historical and brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt in addition to the progress witnessed in all fields. He affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue co-operation and joint co-ordination and upgrade it to broader horizons for the benefit of both countries and their people. He also mentioned his appreciation to the strategic role of the Arab Republic of Egypt in defending Arab issues, interests and safeguarding Arab national security
