Sports strides stressed

Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa hailed Bahrain’s landmark sports achievements yielded by the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.  

He made the statement as he received the Interior Ministry’s teams which shone at different local and international sports championships and competitions Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and President of Public Security Sports Association also attended the meeting.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa stressed ministry’s keening on developing sports, hailing unprecedented achievements attained by the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He lauded the role of HM the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and President of the Supreme Council for Youth HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing sports, which yielded outstanding achievements.

He congratulated Interior Ministry’s teams on their local, regional and international achievements, reflecting the distinguished standing attained by Bahrainis, hailing their dedication, hard work and competitiveness which enabled them to vie for top spots in different championships.
