Beacon School to get accreditation from world’s leading body
Bahrain’s Beacon Private School has started the process of getting accredited by the prestigious US-based New England School Association, which ¬¬is considered one of the best accreditation non-profit bodies in the world for educational institutions and also provides accreditation to most prominent universities in the world including Harvard.
A delegation will be visiting the school this month from the New England School Association to start the accreditation process, which spans over one year till the issuing of the final accreditation certificate. The decision was announced after a Board Meeting of the School, chaired by Mohammed Dadabhai.
The accreditation procedure will set quality and process standards for the school, which will help the school to leverage the power of its skilled faculty and state-ofthe-art facilities and maximize its strengths for its students. The accreditation provided by this body is accepted all over the world.
The Board meeting reviewed all reports and evaluated the school performance since its inception last year. The school achievements include doubling admission figures and adoption of a system that frees children from doing home work. The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Dadabhai and attended by Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, Jamal Fakhro, Abdulkarim Bucheery, Habib Modara, Samir Chamaa, Ghada Bouzeneddine, Sahar Ataei and Aziz Gilitwala.
Beacon private School adopts a bilingual curriculum which utilizes from the Scandinavian educational experience which incorporates both the American and British systems.
