iGA receives fifth intake of FDPM Fellowship
The Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), Mohamed Ali AlQaed, held a round table discussion with the fifth intake of the First Deputy Prime Minister’s (FDPM) Fellowship.
Mr AlQaed praised the FDPM Fellowship, highlighting that it reflects HRH the Crown Prince’s vision to enhance the skill-set of young Bahrainis working in government to further advance the efficiency of the public sector.
He noted that the FDPM Fellowship provides an opportunity to acquire and refine a wide range of capabilities, which are designed to enhance the government’s delivery - in line with the objectives of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. Mr AlQaed highlighted the success of the Fellowship as demonstrated by the work of previous intakes.
iGA CEO gave a brief on the authority’s scope of work, including the preparation of strategies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the support provided to adapt to the transformations of the digital economy.
He urged the fellows to take advantage of the opportunities and practical training offered by the Fellowship, stressing the importance to keep abreast with the latest technological advances. He concluded by wishing the fellows success in their future endeavours.
