Top Indian defence firms ‘making their mark’ at expo
India’s advanced and cutting-edge military technologies and products are being exhibited at the second edition of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC). The expo presents a unique opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and hardware across land, sea and air.
The Indian Pavilion at BIDEC, which has the participation of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and MIDHANI was inaugurated by the Chairman and Managing Director of the BDL Cmde Siddharth Mishra (Retd) in the presence of officials from the Embassy of India, in Bahrain and the senior officers of the participating companies under Ministry of Defence.
At BIDEC, OFB is exhibiting Dhanush 155 mm Gun System, Sharang 130 /155 mm Upgun, small calibre weapons, various propellants, explosives, troop comfort and equipment, armoured vehicles, military vehicles, mortar, tank, air bombs, rocket brake parachutes, main battle tank Arjun and optical devices, among other products.
