Credit card payment for visa applications
The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs announced yesterday the activation of the payment for visa applications through credit cards from the beginning of November.
With the new service, the cash payment would be suspended for the visa services at the NPRA headquarters in Manama. The same step would be taken for residency applications in the next phase, a statement issued by NPRA said.
The new service is a continuation of the first stage of the implementation of credit card payments at the Passport Directorate as part of the process to enhance services and meet the requirements the NPRA’s beneficiaries, the statement added.
