Commander-in-chief receives Japanese defence minister
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) received Japanese Defence Minister Taro Kono who was on a visit to Bahrain to participate in Manama Dialogue, in presence of Defence Minister General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi.
The BDF Commander-in-chief praised the deep-rooted Bahraini-Japanese friendship ties.
They discussed topics that boost the cooperation and coordination especially in the military field.
The Japanese Defence Minister was briefed about the BDF achievements and the progress of its armaments and units in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Supreme Commander.
Senior BDF officers were also present.
