Artist to bid farewell to Bahrain

Thomas Varghese, a renowned artist and longtime resident is bidding farewell to the Kingdom, as he plans to relocate to his home country. The Indian national has been living in the Kingdom for 38 years now. He was employed as the ‘person in-charge’ at the health club at Jannusan Sports Centre at Mansoor Garden in Budaiya.

Speaking to Tribune, he said: “My heartfelt thanks and prayers for the rulers of the Kingdom of Bahrain for all the developments and achievements to reach to the present Bahrain. I never forget all the sweet memories and will keep in my heart. “For every christmas and new year seasons, I used to exhibit my creativity and art forms at the sports club and various places which were made from the waste and unwanted or neglected materials.

“All my art has two kinds of beauty, one is outer beauty and the other is inner beauty. The outer beauty is visible to all but the inner beauty is its message.” Mr Thomas’ family include wife Annamma Varghese and sons Tony Varghese and Rony Varghese.
