HRH the Crown Prince receives Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt

HRH the Crown Prince receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Yasser Mohamed Ahmed Shaaban, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting Arab causes and further strengthening joint Arab cooperation, aimed at maintaining regional safety and stability.

HRH the Crown Prince noted the depth of ties between Bahrain and Egypt, which continue to advance under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador, and wished him success in his current diplomatic endeavors. HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the importance of further strengthening cooperation across various sectors, to benefit both countries and their peoples.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss regional and international issues of common interest.

For his part, HE Shaaban expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and highlighted HRH’s continued support to further enhancing Bahrain-Egypt relations.
