Stage set for grand Indian wedding

Manama :

The Kingdom is all set to host a grand Indian wedding today. It is learnt that 200 guests have already arrived in the Kingdom to attend the wedding. Sources said Al Areen Palace and Spa as well as the Lost Paradise of Dilmun (LPOD) have been booked for the event. The wedding decorations have been done by Eventoxs Event Management.

The Kingdom is well on its way to becoming a premium destination for grand Indian weddings, according to BTEA. With eyes set on targets such as exclusive weddings, engagements, anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays and more, the BTEA team has already co-ordinated with event management companies and many others players in the Indian wedding market.

The idea to position the country as an elite wedding destination was born at a BTEA meeting chaired by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed Al Zayani and then CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa. “BTEA has played a key role in the planning and organising of such events and in ensuring that all events run smoothly and seamlessly,” Dr Ali Hassan Follad, Adviser at BTEA, had said in a statement issued.
