Speaker: Bahraini women reached distinguished status thanks to royal support

Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia Abdulla Zainal, has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the Bahraini Women’s Day 2019, themed “Bahrain women in the fields of higher education and future sciences, as well as on the Bahraini women’s landmark achievements and distinction in all fields during HM the King’s prosperous era.

The speaker expressed deep pride in the distinguished status reached by Bahraini women across various fields and sectors, thanks to the support, efforts, and programmes of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and the SCW President, thanks to which Bahraini women have moved from the empowerment phase to the advancement one, and attained multiple achievements locally and internationally.

The speaker sent similar congratulatory cables to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the same occasion, lauding the efforts of the government to support Bahraini women’s programmes, effective participation in the building of a modern state in Bahrain and contributions to all fields of development, in line with HM the King’s visions in this regard.
