Forum to focus on latest developments in Dermatology

More than 30 local and international speakers will participate in the second Bahrain Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics Conference and Exhibition “BDLA” organised jointly with National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) and in association with the Ministry of Health and Bahrain Association of Plastic Surgery under the Bahrain Medical society, which will take place from December 9 to 11, BDA Medical Training and Events Centre announced.

Organisers also announced that speakers include leading dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Bahrain, as well as speakers from Switzerland, Britain, America, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Egypt and India. The BDLA conference brings together dermatologists and plastic surgeons, contributing to the development of the best and latest treatments in Bahrain and the region. Speakers will participate in extensive sessions for the three-day conference and workshops.

This year the conference is characterised by a wider Bahraini participation with the presence of all Bahrain physicians as speakers or members of the scientific committees, as well as the advisory board that holds the elite and leaders of development in the dermatology and plastic surgery sector to honour their significant contributions.

The conference’s scientific committee is headed by Dr Hussein Juma, a consultant in dermatology, laser and cosmetology. The conference’s consultative council includes Dr Khalil Al Arrayed, Dr Samira Al Matrook, Dr Tariq Saeed and Dr Abdul-Shaheed Fadl. Heading the conference committee is plastic surgeon Dr Ahmed Shahda.

Attracting such a number of local and international speakers will support the conference in achieving its goals including showcase the latest developments in the world of Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics, anti-ageing techniques and signs of ageing beside the plastic surgeries, and the best ways to care for the body, face and skin as well as the most modern means of hair transplantation, care and beauty.
