Bahraini boy, 13, killed, another injured in horrific crash

A horrific crash killed a 13-year-old boy instantly in the Northern Governorate Sunday night. The mishap occurred while the boy, among a group of children, was parading on their bicycles around Diraz to celebrate Bahrain’s victory in the 24th Gulf Cup. “The paramedics arrived soon, but pronounced him dead on the spot,” an eyewitness said. The boy’s father, who arrived at the scene of the accident, had an emotional breakdown finding the fate of his son. The body was taken to the morgue in Salmaniya Medical Complex.
