Embassy to Brazil celebrates Bahrain’s National
Bahrain’s embassy to Brazil held a reception in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations and the anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne.
The Chargé d'Affairs of Bahrain’s embassy in Brasilia, Bader Abbas Al-Hulaibi, received a group of senior officials of Brazil, members of the Brazilian Senate and Representatives of the Brazilian government.
Al-Hulaibi conveyed his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He noted that HM’s keenness on the concept of human coexistence affirmed the spirit of coexistence, harmony and distinctive tolerance that characterizes the Kingdom.
The ambassador highlighted the continuous development in the Bahraini-Brazilian relations, which extend for nearly half a century, and concluded his speech by emphasizing the Kingdom's keenness to explore the opportunities that produce more fruitful cooperation to serve the common interests of the two countries.
The Director of the Middle East Directorate at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sydney Leon Romero, delivered a speech on behalf of the Adviser to Brazilian President, affirming his happiness to participate in the first celebration of Bahrain.
He also noted the importance of bilateral relations, their role in peaceful coexistence, principles in good neighborliness and their effective international efforts.
Romero congratulated Bahrain, its government and people, wishing them further progress, and prosperity.
