‘Falak Unreasonable Entrepreneur Weekend offered a boost for start-ups’

The second Falak Unreasonable Weekend served a vehicle to educate and inspire start-up entrepreneurs across Bahrain. The event works in tandem with Bahrain’s Economic Vision to foster entrepreneurship as a key factor in achieving economic growth and sustainable development within the nation.

The extensive “Extreme Learning” entrepreneurship workshop stretched over two days was organised in collaboration between Falak Consulting and the Labor Fund “Tamkeen”. The workshop aimed to add value for participating entrepreneurs by providing a channel towards essential experience and expertise that further augments their conceptualization along with insight into real life situations and solutions.

Commenting on supporting the workshop for the second consecutive year, Tamkeen’s Chief Executive, Dr Ebrahim Janahi, said: “At Tamkeen, we believe that innovation and entrepreneurship are key elements that support the national objectives of the Kingdom, which in turn helps stimulate the SME sector, develop the non-oil private sector and improve the competitiveness of Bahrain.”

He continued: “Innovative knowledge sharing workshop like the Falak Unreasonable Entrepreneur Weekend provides our young promising entrepreneurs with the chance to learn from peers who already led the path of entrepreneurship in Bahrain and abroad; ambitious entrepreneurs could learn so much from listening to the success stories of other entrepreneurs.”
