Deepest solar eclipse in Bahrain
The deepest solar eclipse to be seen in Bahrain on December 26, with 95 per cent of the sun engulfed in a shadow cast by the moon. The country witnesses a phenomenon that has only occurres once in more than 100 years.
As the sun rises on December 26 it will be eclipsed by 77.1pc starting from 6.23am, reaching the deepest eclipse witnessed in Bahrain’s history since 1900 at 95pc at 6.36am.
The eclipse, which can be seen in Bahrain and parts of the GCC, will continue until 7.49am.
