Bahraini sues neighbour for building garage
A Bahraini man resorted to the court to solve a disagreement with his neighbour after the latter opened a garage in his house.
According to court files, the neighbour decided to construct the garage after he ran out of space to park his car in the tiny neighbourhood in Muharraq.
The garage allegedly blocked the plaintiff from parking the car in front of his house. He initially complained with Muharraq Municipality, but officials declined his request because the neighbour already had permission to build a garage.
Subsequently, he filed a case at the Administrative Court, which rejected it stating that the neighbour had obtained required permits to construct the garage.
The court ruling indicated that the plaintiff failed to provide any proof for any violations committed by the defendant.
